Welcome to Wishing Well Cabins.
Our cabins are on beautiful Grand Lake which is located between Alpena and Roger City, Michigan.
We have five (5) cabins all with great views of the lake.
There are four (4) two bedroom cabin and one (1) three bedroom cabin. All have recently remodeled tile bathrooms and wood floors.
We have four row boats and one canoe for your use (parental discretion). We also provide a limited amount of firewood for your own fireplace. There is also a communal fire pit by the water for roasting marshmallows or hotdogs etc.
There are two docks you can tie up to if you bring your own watercraft. Wave runners can be beached on our rubber mats. We are protected from the wind unless it is hard out of the north.
We have a sandy beach but recommend water shoes for the kids as it gets gravely/stony out in the water. The lake has a gradual slope, no drop off to worry about.
There are plenty of places to lay in the sun and lots of shade trees too. The best of both worlds.
Cabins come with some lawn furniture, a picnic table, and a charcoal grill (Weber type).
The kitchens are complete with refrigerator, stove, pans, dishes, silverware, and coffee pot. Some have microwaves.
Showers in bathrooms only. (cabin #5 has tub/shower)
Beds: Cabin 1 through 3 have a double bed in each
bedroom. A hide-a-bed in the main room.
Cabin 4 has two double beds and two twins. No hide-a-bed.
Cabin 5 has a double in one bedroom and twins in the other. (you walk
through one bedroom to get to the
other in this cabin). A hide-a-bed in the main room.
There is a swing set and a tire swing in the back yard along with a horseshoe pit. Plenty of room for the kids.
A great place for the whole extended family to gather and vacation. We have many repeat families so whole weeks with all five cabins are limited. Make your plans early.
Each cabin (except for cabin #5) has a fire place.
